Developing Mathematics Written Communication through Case-Based Learning

Mathematical education, as it is now practiced, has many problems. Students that were taught using traditional instruction only to listen. Without the input and feedback of pupils, teacher controls learning process. unable improve their communication abilities lacked independence. This study aimed ascertain how case-based affected students' mathematics skills. The had a posttest-only design was quasi-experimental investigation. control class received standard instruction, whereas experiment instruction. ability students communicate mathematically dependent variable in this study. independent variables variables. Forty-six pre-service teachers from two full classes served research participants fifth semester. tests prior knowledge mathematical skills used tools. According findings, there difference capacity for between those who receive better student than group (p-value = 0.047). As result, one option enhancing abilities.
